This week’s WWE Friday Night SmackDown, airing live on November 22, 2024, from the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, will feature key matchups and heated confrontations as the build-up to Survivor Series intensifies.
Cody Rhodes opened last week’s episode with a fiery promo aimed at Kevin Owens, accusing him of overstepping boundaries and demanding he appear in the arena. Owens, however, was prevented from entering the venue in Wisconsin. A video from Owens later aired, revealing that SmackDown GM Nick Aldis had invited him to the November 22 show in Salt Lake City. Now, the long-anticipated face-off between Owens and the Undisputed WWE Champion is set to take place, promising fireworks in the Blue Brand’s main storyline.
In a groundbreaking announcement, WWE introduced the Women’s United States Championship, with a tournament to crown the first-ever titleholder. On the November 15 edition of SmackDown, Bayley overcame Candice LeRae and B-Fab in a triple-threat match, advancing to the semi-finals. This week, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Bianca Belair will compete against Chelsea Green and Blair Davenport in another triple-threat bout. With a place in the semi-finals at stake, the intensity will undoubtedly reach new heights as the tournament progresses toward history.
