This week’s Monday Night Raw is set to take place at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan, launching the exciting journey towards Survivor Series WarGames 2024. As WWE’s final Pay-Per-View event of the year, Survivor Series is scheduled for November 30 at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada. In a similar fashion to the recent SmackDown episode, Raw will focus on developing storylines that will reach their peak at Survivor Series.
The November 11 episode of Raw will spotlight many of the Red brand’s top superstars, including Gunther, Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins, Damian Priest, Liv Morgan, The New Day, and Bianca Belair.
A key storyline features Damian Priest, the former Heavyweight Champion, who earned his title shot by defeating Seth Rollins, Dominik Mysterio, and Sheamus in a Fatal-4-Way match during last week’s Red brand episode. This victory sets up a high-stakes match against the current World Heavyweight Champion, Gunther, also known as ‘The Ring General’. Their confrontation was announced last week, promising an intense showdown on November 11. Priest is determined to avenge his shocking loss to Gunther at SummerSlam 2024, where he was betrayed by his Judgment Day ally, Finn Balor, leading to Gunther’s victory.
In the women’s division, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair are slated to defend their titles against Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. This match is contingent on Ripley’s injury status, with Mami currently out injured for the second time since April. Last week, Morgan and Rodriguez thwarted Cargill and Belair’s attempt to win the battle royal for the No.1 contender spot for the Women’s World Championship, leading to a challenging rematch this week. Additionally, IYO Sky earned her title shot by winning the battle royal, adding another layer of competition.
The previous episode saw Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill engage in a heated exchange with Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, culminating in Belair slapping Morgan. During the battle royal to determine the No.1 contender for Morgan’s title, Morgan and Rodriguez interfered, causing a double elimination that prevented Cargill and Belair from advancing.
Adding to the night’s drama, ‘Big’ Bronson Reed is confirmed to appear on this week’s Raw. Following his vicious attack on Damian Priest, Sheamus, and Seth Rollins during the Fatal 4-Way World Heavyweight Championship No. 1 Contenders Match last week, Reed’s appearance is highly anticipated. Reed is currently in a bitter feud with Seth Rollins, stemming from their clash at the Crown Jewel PLE. Despite Rollins’ victory in Saudi Arabia, Reed remains intent on continuing their rivalry.
