On Saturday, December 7, 2024, NXT Deadline returns for its third installment, broadcasting live from the Minneapolis Armory in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This show is WWE’s first premium live event in the city since 2019’s TLC and serves as one of the final international WWE Network events before its transition to Netflix in January 2025.
The main event will see NXT Champion Trick Williams defend against Ridge Holland, who earned his title shot by defeating Andre Chase on November 19. Holland has been built as a dominant heel, intensifying his feud with Williams through vicious attacks. Despite Holland’s momentum, Williams is expected to retain his title, continuing his reign and potentially holding the championship through WrestleMania season.
Two high-stakes Iron Survivor Challenge matches are set for the event. The men’s match features Wes Lee, Je’Von Evans, Nathan Frazer, Ethan Page, and Eddy Thorpe competing for a future shot at the NXT Championship. The women’s match includes Sol Ruca, Zaria, Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, and Wren Sinclair, with the winner also earning a title opportunity.
Tag team champions Nathan Frazer and Axiom will defend their belts against Myles Borne and Tavion Heights, who earned their shot by winning a battle royal on the December 3 episode of NXT.
In one of the night’s most anticipated matches, Lola Vice and Jaida Parker face off in an NXT Underground Match. This no-ropes contest, won only via knockout or referee stoppage, caps off weeks of escalating tension between the two. Their feud escalated after Parker defeated Vice in a brutal Street Fight at the 2300 Arena, solidifying their intense rivalry.
