The October 22, 2024, edition of WWE NXT will air live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. This iconic venue, which also serves as WWE’s training hub, is the perfect stage for an exciting night of NXT action, featuring highly anticipated matchups and evolving storylines.
One of the top matches will see IYO SKY and Kairi Sane of Damage CTRL take on Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson of Meta-Four. Tensions have been building since the October 14 episode of WWE RAW, where Jackson and Legend were at ringside during a tag team championship match between Damage CTRL and current titleholders Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. A heated interaction between the two teams cost SKY the match, and now, the stage is set for payback on NXT.
Former NXT North American Champion Oba Femi will step into the ring with Luca Crusifino. After losing his title to Tony D’Angelo, Femi is determined to bounce back and reclaim his dominance. Crusifino, however, requested this match to prove a point to the former champion, stating that no one disrespects The D’Angelo Family. With both men looking to make a statement, this match could get personal.
In tag team action, Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer will battle Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley of Fatal Influence. This match was set by NXT General Manager Ava after a backstage confrontation last week. Vaquer, fresh off her in-ring debut against Wren Sinclair, teams up with Giulia for what promises to be an intense showdown.
Additionally, Jaida Parker will take on Tatum Paxley in a singles match. This contest comes after Parker interrupted Paxley’s break, leading to a confrontation that will now be settled inside the ring.
