AEW Dynamite on January 8, 2025, will air live from the F&M Bank Arena in Clarksville, Tennessee. The match card and segments for the episode have been announced, promising an action-packed evening for wrestling fans.
The women’s division will feature Toni Storm taking on Kris Statlander and Willow Nightingale in a three-way match. The winner will claim the top spot in the women’s Casino Gauntlet, set to occur next Wednesday at AEW Dynamite Maximum Carnage. On the men’s side, the Casino Gauntlet will be held this week, with the winner earning a shot at Jon Moxley’s world championship at Maximum Carnage. Last week, Jay White defeated Swerve Strickland and Roderick Strong to secure his place at the top of the Gauntlet. Additionally, Tony Khan has scheduled Will Ospreay vs. Buddy Matthews for this week, with Matthews seeking payback for Ospreay’s elimination of Brody King from the Continental Classic.
Kenny Omega returns to AEW Dynamite after a long absence. His comeback has sparked anticipation, particularly after his standout match with Gabe Kidd at Wrestle Dynasty. Omega’s reappearance raises questions about his next move and potential feuds.
