The March 8th 2025 episode of AEW Collision was recorded on March 5th at the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium in Sacramento, California. This Saturday, Momo Watanabe will compete in her second AEW match. Her first appearance was at Forbidden Door 2024, where she teamed with Kris Statlander but fell short against Willow Nightingale and Tam Nakano. Watanabe, a 24-year-old STARDOM veteran, has been wrestling since she was 14 and boasts a decade of experience. She is also a former partner and stablemate of WWE Women’s World Champion IYO SKY.
In other action, The Opps (Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata, and HOOK) triumphed over Titus Alexander, Starboy Charlie, and Jack Banning. The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd) emerged victorious against Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari. After the match, The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, and MVP) made their presence known, staring down their challengers.
Queen Aminata’s recent victory may have been influenced by The Professor’s strategy. Fans should keep an eye out for a potential angle involving Mercedes Mone, who previously disrespected Watanabe at Grand Slam. Watanabe and Mone have a history, having faced off at NJPW’s Capital Collision last year for the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship.
