The stars of All Elite Wrestling (AEW) gathered at the Adventist Health Arena in Stockton, California, for the October 19, 2024 edition of AEW Collision. As expected, the event was packed with intense matches, fierce promos, and unexpected twists that kept fans on the edge of their seats.
Kicking off the show, Rush and his imposing partner Beast Mortos dismantled The Outrunners in a dominant display of power. After securing the victory, the destruction didn’t stop as Rush and Mortos continued their brutal attack. Just when things seemed out of control, FTR stormed the ring to make the save, setting the stage for a heated rivalry between the two teams. Later in the night, the mysterious and destructive House of Black secured another six-man tag team win, reaffirming their dominance over AEW’s trios division. Their opponents were kept under wraps, but the House’s eerie presence and overwhelming power once again stole the show.
The night reached new heights when Ricochet and AR Fox delivered an incredible match that had the crowd on their feet. Ricochet earned a decisive victory, and following the match, he grabbed a mic to remind everyone that he’s never been pinned or submitted in AEW. He went on to challenge Konosuke Takeshita for the International Championship, setting the stage for what could be a must-see title clash. Kris Statlander, the former TBS Champion, also showed her strength with a victory over Harley Cameron. But the real drama unfolded post-match when Statlander delivered a passionate promo, calling out Kamille and even provoking Mercedes Moné, inviting her to attend future matches in what promises to be a thrilling rivalry in the making.
Meanwhile, Daniel Garcia and Private Party picked up a victory against The Premier Athletes, with Garcia showcasing his technical prowess throughout the match. In another quick encounter, Orange Cassidy took down the much larger Bulk Bronson using his signature laid-back, yet highly effective style, continuing his winning streak. Jamie Hayter made a big impact in her return to the ring by defeating Brooke Havoc, but the post-match confrontation was where the fireworks truly began. Penelope Ford appeared on the big screen, sending a direct message to Hayter, vowing to take everything from her, igniting what will likely be a heated feud between the two.
In another exciting match, Kyle Fletcher came out on top against Atlantis Jr., securing a win in a fast-paced contest. The main event featured the AEW Trios Champions—Wheeler Yuta, Claudio Castagnoli, and Pac—defending their titles against Top Flight and Action Andretti. The champions showcased their excellent teamwork, overpowering their opponents to retain the titles. Just when the night seemed to be winding down, Jon Moxley and Marina Shafir made their presence known by storming the ring and laying waste to everyone in sight. Even The Dark Order tried to intervene, but they too were taken out in a violent display, leaving the arena in chaos. Moxley’s takeover of AEW seems inevitable as he continues to assert his dominance.
