The October 11, 2024, episode of Friday Night SmackDown will be broadcast live from the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina. Following the events of WWE Bad Blood 2024, this episode promises more action, surprises, and developments in key storylines.
Fresh off his historic victory at Bad Blood, Roman Reigns will make his triumphant return to SmackDown. Teaming up with Cody Rhodes, Reigns overcame his former Bloodline allies in a match that shocked the WWE Universe. The return of Jimmy Uso added to the excitement, but the biggest surprise came when The Rock made a stunning return to WWE. Now, Reigns is expected to address the crowd and lay out his plans, while fans are left wondering what The Rock’s involvement means for the Tribal Chief’s future.
In other developments, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill have issued a challenge to NXT talents Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend, inviting them to compete for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. The ball is in Jackson and Legend’s court—will they rise to the occasion and make their SmackDown debut, or bide their time for a future encounter?
Additionally, Nick Aldis or Triple H may make an appearance to address Kevin Owens’ brutal attack on Cody Rhodes following Bad Blood. The fallout from this incident is sure to create an intense storyline heading into the next phase of WWE programming.
The night will also feature a United States Championship match, as Carmelo Hayes challenges LA Knight. Hayes earned his title shot after defeating AJ Styles via injury stoppage last week. This match is shaping up to be one of the highlights of the night as Hayes looks to claim his first United States Championship.
